Tip for today.

If a negative thought arises, immediately replace it with a positive one. Choose the same vivid positive thought to use and use it every time till the negative thought cannot be experienced without being accompanied by the positive one. Notice how this weakens the negative thought till it eventually stops arising.  I have fun with this. I used a memory of a FB video of a kitten trying to get comfortable in a shoe. Within days I could not have an anxious thought without it being accompanied by a kitten!
